Seeds for fall planting

Seeds are being added to the catalog now for your fall planting needs.  We have more native flower seeds that can be started in fall for blooms next year.

Broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage seeds should be planted now.  Find more information on one of the links we’ve provided elsewhere on this site.

As always, if would like to donate money or seeds to the seed library please just let us know!  They can also be dropped off at the Extension Office on Court Street.

Home Hydroponics Workshop

Brian Kailey from CSU Extension in Logan County will be covering everything you need to know to try hydroponics at home, Topics include seed selection, site location, grow lights, fertilizers, pest management, planting, growing and harvest.

When: Monday, June 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: CSU Extension office, 701 Court St. Suite C
Cost: $10 per person or $15 for couples sharing materials

The All Pueblo Grows Seed Lending Library is calling for donations of your best seeds!

Please join the All Pueblo Grows team on Saturday, August 27 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on the second floor of the Rawlings library, in the Idea Factory. Enjoy a free educational seminar from the Pueblo County Colorado Master Gardeners, and help them prepare seed packets to go into the library catalog.

Don’t forget to bring any seed donations that you have. Donations should be marked with the name and variety of the plant, as well as a packaging date and location of origin if possible.

If you cannot make the event you can always drop off seed donations to the seed library on the second floor of the Rawlings library near the elevators, or to the CSU Extension office at 701 Court St. Suite C. anytime during business hours.
